Welcome to Juan's portfolio.
Hello, world. My name is Juan and this is my engineering portfolio.
In this site you will find a record of my projects, for MEGR2156, which will give you a clear idea of what I know and how I think. I will give thorough explanations of my decisions and the process that led me to completing each project. With each of these assignments I will demonstrate a clear understanding of the most important design principles, while remaining true to my engineering practices and ideas.

How This Portfolio Works
Every lab entry will answer three questions about my design process:
What did the process require?
Every additive manufacturing technology has design rules: constraints imposed by the machine, the material, and the process itself.
What did I design and why?
What choices did I make? What geometry, orientation, tolerance, or material decision was specific to the process I was designing for?
What did I learn?
What worked? What failed? What would I change if I printed it again?
